As the nights get darker, it’s imperative that you wear running lights and/or reflective clothing. Even though most of our runs will take place on roads that are mostly lit, we still need to think about safety and “being seen”.

Any younger members of the club must now run with their parents/carers for their own safety.

SPOND

We’d really like to encourage you to use Spond for our runs  – SEE HERE. Now the darker nights are here our run leaders need to know who they have in their groups. If you are unsure how to use Spond please stay after the run and we can show you how it works.

FESTIVE 5KM

We are looking for some extra sponsorship for our Festive 5k race in December. If you or anyone you know would be interested in supporting this worthwhile cause then please contact us.

MEMBERSHIP

Club membership is due at the end of January 2023. Fees will be £30 for the year, this includes your affiliation to England Athletics, insurance and the general running of the club. Children will be £15 for the year.

November 10^th Club awards evening at Alessi. £5 deposit is now needed. Please bring cash to the next run.
