RACE DAY INFORMATION

Event registration

The event will take place at Audley Cricket Club, Kent Hills Ground, Nantwich Road, Audley, Stoke-on-Trent, ST7 8DL.  Here you will collect your race number and chip at the registration desk which is located inside the club house. There will also be refreshments available to purchase before and after the race inside.  The Festive 5K will commence at 11am.  Please arrive in plenty of time to find parking in Audley and to collect your race numbers.  We would like all runners to be at the cricket club by 10.30am.

Parking

Parking is limited so where possible we would like to encourage those who are local to Audley to walk/car share to eliminate parking on Nantwich Road as much as possible.  For those travelling from further afield, there is a car park at the adjoining cemetery car park and a 15 minute walk away there is a large car park located in front of and also behind, Audley Community Centre. For details visit www.audleycommunitycentre.org.uk/how-to-get-here/.

Health and Safety

For the Festive 5k please be aware that road closures will not be in operation.  However, marshals will be located around the route to calm any traffic as much as possible. However, please note you must be vigilant and be aware of your surroundings at all times. Please consider your safety and that of others. If running with younger children, please make sure they are within arms reach at all times. There may be some residents who have no option but to park their cars on the roads themselves, and runners are encouraged to run on pavements whenever they are available.  Please listen to instructions given by the marshals as they are there to help you and to ensure that the event runs as smoothly as possible.

The route will be advertised on the day but a map can be found below:
